have been a Town Councillor since 2001, currently representing Oxford Road ward. Previously I was a councillor for 6 years in Bristol. I am the Finance Speaker for the Town Council, and also a member of the Planning, Personnel and Grants committees.

My priorities are fighting for better public transport to give a real alternative to car use in our town, pushing for improvements in the woefully low recycling rate achieved by AVDC, and encouraging all new developments in the town to use sustainable energy sources and minimise their carbon emissions. I am also passionate about education and am a Governor of Oak Green School.
I love Aylesbury as the best possible mix of a thriving urban environment with easy access to beautiful countryside locally. Most of all I admire the way so many people of all backgrounds work together to create strong and supportive communities around our town.
Outside of politics my interests are Bristol Rovers FC, the cinema and theatre, reading and music.
