TENANTS BETRAYED BY TORIES

Aylesbury Vale District Council has had a gradual programme of installing double glazing in the properties that it owns. Currently just over half the Council's properties have been fitted with double glazing, saving the occupants fuel costs and keeping them warmer and quieter. This work was paid for out of the council's capital money allocated to the housing service - none of it comes from Council Tax.
